WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage our software projects in the government and enterprise sector. Background knowledge of managing end-to-end software development projects right from ideation, implementation and client hand-off is a must have.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate internal resources and customers, vendors for flawless execution of software projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- People skills to manage a team by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining resources; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate for research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
- Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
- Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
